About Us
Who we are
Playdate is a private preschool in Costa Mesa.
We spend 90% of our day outside in the sunshine and fresh air. Our Westside location has laying hens, fruit bearing trees and hands on gardening. Your family is our family!
What we are all about
Our classes incorporate traditional learning styles as well as hands-on experiences. We are excited to offer this to our children in our big magical backyard.

Our classes incorporate traditional learning styles as well as hands-on experiences. We are excited to offer this to our children in our big magical backyard.
Playdate Preschool is Waldorf inspired, Montessori themed, screen free, outdoor preschool playgroup. We have an early literacy program where we focus on letters and the sounds they make, blending them together to make words. We practice letter, number, color, shape and child’s name recognization everyday. We use Alphafriends + handwriting without tears to help us learn. Socialization and learning to be a good friend, a teammate, and a partner on a project is something we work on everyday here at Playdate Preschool we hope you join us!

Curriculum
What we are learning about
Everyday we learn + review the Alphabet, the sounds each letter makes using our Alpha-Friends + handwriting without tears, Numbers, Shapes, Colors, the days of the week and personal name recognition
We learn through PLAY!
Making learning fun is important to us! They are only little once and when they get to primary school it becomes very serious 🧐 Although our program is structured we give lots of wiggle room to be free to explore, play, and adventure.
Crafts, Activities + Holiday’s!
We love to PARTY!! 🎉 This also give us the opportunity to learn about each and every holiday and why we celebrate. We are so happy that you were born and love to make you feel special on your Birthday! We do a themed activity and craft every week
WE CAN HELP WITH POTTY TRAINING!
Every child is different and does things on their own time, we can help navigate and give advice on potty training. Once you are ready, they are ready, we will be ready to help you in this process!
