At Playdate Preschool, we believe that learning should be joyful, hands-on, and developmentally appropriate at every age. That’s why we offer two thoughtfully designed programs, including our Kinder Prep Program and Preschool Outdoor Program, to meet children right where they are through engaging play-based learning.

Our Preschool Outdoor Program is ideal for curious toddlers eager to explore their surroundings. Running from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, this half-day program offers a perfect blend of structure, play-based learning, and exploration in a safe, nurturing environment.
Through engaging activities such as art, music, sensory play, and outdoor adventures, children in our Kinder Prep Program develop essential social, emotional, and language skills while having fun and building confidence. This program emphasizes:
- Building confidence and independence
- Making friends and learning to play cooperatively
- Introducing early learning concepts like colors, shapes, numbers, and letters through enjoyable, hands-on activities
It’s all about ensuring our littlest learners feel safe, loved, and excited to attend school each day.

Our Kinder Prep Program is specifically designed for older preschoolers who are ready for a bit more structure while preserving the magic of early childhood. Operating from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, this program combines play-based learning with essential early academic skills necessary for kindergarten readiness, including:
- Letter and number recognition through developmentally friendly approaches like Handwriting Without Tears
- Pre-literacy skills fostered through storytelling, songs, and early writing activities
- Problem-solving and critical thinking enhanced by STEM-inspired activities and imaginative play
Children leave our Kinder Prep Program feeling confident, capable, and prepared for the transition to kindergarten, all while enjoying a warm, creative, and play-filled environment. Additionally, our Preschool Outdoor Program provides opportunities for exploration and learning in nature, further enriching the educational experience.
