We welcome children ages 2–4 years old in our two programs: Preschool Program: Ages 2–3 Kinder Prep Program: Ages 3–4
At Playdate Preschool, we keep our class sizes intentionally small so every child gets the attention and support they need. With a 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio, plus additional support staff, our classrooms feel calm, nurturing, and well-staffed. While many preschools have ratios of 1:8 or even 1:12, our low ratios help children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn
Playdate Preschool runs on a half-day schedule: Preschool (ages 2–3) 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM Kinder Prep (ages 3–4) 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM We operate year-round, with short breaks for major holidays and seasonal vacations.
Yes! We love showing families around our campus. You can schedule a tour to see our classrooms, outdoor spaces, and meet our teachers. It’s the best way to experience the Playdate magic in person!
Enrollment begins with a tour followed by completing our application. Once accepted, families secure their child’s spot by paying the enrollment deposit.
Yes, spaces are limited, so we recommend joining our waitlist early to reserve your child’s spot when one becomes available.
Our curriculum blends play-based learning with early academics, creative arts, outdoor exploration, and social-emotional development. We use Handwriting Without Tears for early literacy and writing skills in a fun, hands-on way.
Yes! We love celebrating birthdays at Playdate Preschool. 🎉 Each child’s special day is recognized with a birthday song and a simple classroom celebration to make them feel special. Families are welcome to bring a small treat to share, or go all out with a full pizza party for the class if they’d like! We just ask that you coordinate with the teachers ahead of time so we can make the day run smoothly for everyone.
Yes! We celebrate the classic holidays — like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter — with crafts, songs, and family-friendly events that make sweet memories for children and families alike.
Yes! Playdate is a year-round school, and when the school year ends, the fun continues with Playdate Summer Camp filled with water play, outdoor adventures, art, and weekly themes.
No, we welcome children whether they are potty trained or still in diapers. Playdate is diaper-friendly, and our teachers support each child at their own pace, offering gentle reminders, encouragement, and help as needed. We work closely with families to keep routines consistent between home and school, making the potty training process as smooth and stress-free as possible for both parents and little ones.
We love keeping families connected to their child’s day. Teachers share daily updates, photos, and little moments so you can see what your child is learning, creating, and exploring. We believe communication builds trust and helps families feel like they’re right there with us, even when they can’t be.
We know that starting preschool can be a big step, for both children and parents! 💛 At Playdate, we handle hard transitions with patience, love, and consistency. Teachers offer gentle reassurance, comforting routines, and lots of hand holding to help children feel safe and supported as they adjust. We work closely with families to create a plan that works best for each child, whether that means quick goodbyes, bringing a comfort item from home, or sending parents a text update once their child
No, at Playdate Preschool, we use positive guidance and redirection rather than time-outs. Our goal is to help children understand their feelings, learn problem-solving skills, and make better choices with gentle support. When challenges arise, teachers work with children to take calming breaks, talk through feelings, and find solutions together so the experience becomes a moment of growth rather than punishment.
